uTexas Identity Manager (TIMTIM The uTexas Identity Manager (TIM) is the university’s identity manager. See uTexas Identity Manager (TIM) in the service catalog for more information.)
TIM is responsible for the life cycle of UT EIDs including creation and consolidation of directory and role information for students, faculty, and staff. This information is standardized and passed to Authentication and Directory Services applications for use by applications across campus. TIM is also responsible for UT EIDUT EID The University of Texas Electronic Identity (UT EID or EID) is the public records identifier for principals at the university.
