The University’s central directory services aggregate data from multiple authoritative sources and serve as a central location for identity data.
Current Directory Services
The uTexas Enterprise Directory (TED) is a private LDAP-based directory service that contains identity information about students, faculty, staff, and university affiliates.
TED on the Mainframe (TOM) is a mirror of TED data that is hosted on the mainframe to provide high-performance access to identity data via commonly-used Natural EID lookup modules such as T3N$ELK, T3N$FEID, etc.
The White Pages Service (WPS) is a semi-public directory that contains public records information about current students, faculty, and staff. The service provides the directory back-end for the UT Directory.
