Group and Role Management

On Wednesday, May 15, 2024 the IAM Team released version 2024.3.0 of the IGAIGA Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) refers to a set of processes and technologies used by organizations to manage and control user access to resources and information within their systems. This includes managing user identities, roles, and permissions, as well as monitoring and auditing user activities to ensure compliance with regulations and policies. IGA helps organizations reduce security risks, improve regulatory compliance, and streamline user access management across different systems and applications. Infrastructure, version 2024.4.0 of the midPoint database, and version 2024.4.0 of the Grouper database which implemented the following changes:

• The team performed database restructuring in the production environments. Previously, there was a single RDS instance that contained the “Grouper”, “Intermediate”, and “midPoint” databases. These databases were exported out of that RDS instance and then re-imported into the new individual “Grouper”, “Intermediate”, and “midPoint” RDS instances.
