Release Notes – midPoint – Release 2027.1.0

On Wednesday, August 16, 2026 the IAMIAM Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a set of policies, processes, and technologies designed to ensure that the right individuals (identities) have the right access to resources within an organization. IAM involves managing and securing digital identities, controlling access to systems and data, and maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. Team released version 2027.1.0 of midPoint, implementing the following changes:

  • TIMTIM The uTexas Identity Manager (TIM) is the University’s identity manager. See uTexas Identity Manager (TIM) in the service catalog for more information. Connector has been updated resolving errors and incorrect preferred names.
  • Global Object Template Recomputation task has been removed from the codebase and the GUI.
  • Lambda retrieval and removal code has been standardized for consistency, including switching the removal lambda to use an environment variable for the secret name rather than a hardcoded value. UTS and WKD Sup Org parameters are now configurable.
  • The attribute utexasEduPersonEntitlementCodeEndDate is now sent from TEDTED The uTexas Enterprise Directory (TED) is the University’s enterprise directory. See uTexas Enterprise Directory (TED) in the service catalog for more information. to midPoint.
  • The Workday Sup Org lambda now runs on a separate Saturday schedule, running at 3:15 PM Central Time on Saturdays and 3:15 AM Central Time Sunday through Friday to account for the delayed file drop on Saturdays.
