Release Notes – Enterprise Authentication – Release 2026.2.2

On Tuesday, August 4, 2026 the IAMIAM Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a set of policies, processes, and technologies designed to ensure that the right individuals (identities) have the right access to resources within an organization. IAM involves managing and securing digital identities, controlling access to systems and data, and maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. Team released version 2026.2.2 of Enterprise AuthenticationAuthentication Authentication is the act of determining that a person is who they claim to be. For more information, see our Concepts page., implementing the following changes:

  • Improved duplicate attribute filed ID validation to evaaluate duplicates within the appropriate policy.
  • Updated OpenID Connect logout behavior to support application-specific logout experiences.
  • Added support for resolving merged EIDsUT EID The University of Texas Electronic Identity (UT EID or EID) is the public records identifier for principals at the university. See our Concepts page for more information. for the Oracle SFA integration.
  • Enabled dynamic Authentication Methods Reference attributes for Salesforce service providers.
  • Strengthened restricts governing the release of EIDs and other identity attributes.
  • Updated security configurations for select UT Libraries sigle sign-on integrations.
  • Added updates to customer integrations. Updated NameID formats and attribute release rules based on application requirements.
  • Added new attribute releases and refined group-based attribute filters for authorized service providers.
  • Updated production and staging application configurations.
  • Updated logout endpoint configurations for applicable OpenID Connect integrations.
  • Improved automated testing and release workflows.
  • Enhanced the Enterprise Authentication test enviornment.
  • Updated supported build, packaging, and source-control components.
