Release Notes – IGA Infrastructure – Release 2024.3.3

On Wednesday, July 24, 2024 the IAM Team released version 2024.3.3 of the IGAIGA Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) refers to a set of processes and technologies used by organizations to manage and control user access to resources and information within their systems. This includes managing user identities, roles, and permissions, as well as monitoring and auditing user activities to ensure compliance with regulations and policies. IGA helps organizations reduce security risks, improve regulatory compliance, and streamline user access management across different systems and applications. Infrastructure, implementing the following changes:

  • Update the AWS OUs to include internal team address to the list of approved emails in the production environment.
  • Build Availability Testing for IGA Infrastructure.
  • Upgrade the AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) cluster.

Release Notes – midPoint – Release 2024.4.1

On Tuesday, July 2, 2024 the IAM Team released version 2024.4.1 of midPoint, implementing the following changes:

  • Auto-generation of sAMAccountName for Grouper created groups will now include the sub-department, if there is one.
  • The sAMAccountName will now allow up to 7 characters for the CSUCSU College, School, or Unit name and 7 characters for the sub-department name.
  • All pre-existing Grouper groups that have a sub-department will automatically be updated with the new sAMAccountName format.
