On Wednesday, May 1, 2024 the IAM Team released version 2024.2.1 of the IGAIGA Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) refers to a set of processes and technologies used by organizations to manage and control user access to resources and information within their systems. This includes managing user identities, roles, and permissions, as well as monitoring and auditing user activities to ensure compliance with regulations and policies. IGA helps organizations reduce security risks, improve regulatory compliance, and streamline user access management across different systems and applications. Infrastructure which implemented the following changes:
- Configuration for Grouper Email
- Add pgAdmin pod and wire up with EntAuth OAuthOIDC OpenID Connect 1.0 is an authentication layer built on OAuth 2.0 where the identity provider that runs the authorization server also holds the protected resource that the third-party application aims to access.
- Upgrade to Kubernetes version 1.26
- Update infrastructure to allow for new midPoint/Grouper DB connections
