Release Notes – midPoint – Release 2025.2.2

On Wednesday, December 18, 2024 the IAMIAM Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a set of policies, processes, and technologies designed to ensure that the right individuals (identities) have the right access to resources within an organization. IAM involves managing and securing digital identities, controlling access to systems and data, and maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. Team released version 2025.2.2 of midPoint, implementing the following changes:

  • Increase heap and memory sizing.
  • Increase the health check interval.
  • Add new Utility tasks – Reindex All Repository Objects and Reindex User Repository Objects.
  • Turning off midPoint capability to write, update, or delete user attributes and users in Active Directory.

IAM involves managing and securing digital identities, controlling access to systems and data, and maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. Team released version 2025.2.0 of midPoint, implementing the following changes:

  • Upgrade to midPoint version 4.8.4
  • Grouper Live Synchronization task performance improvements
  • Upgrade to LDAPLDAP Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) is a set of protocols for accessing information directories based on the standards contained within the X.500 standard, but is significantly simpler. connector version 3.7.2
  • Added new “Manual Org Recomputation” task

Release Notes – midPoint – Release 2025.1.0

On Wednesday, September 25, 2024 the IAMIAM Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a set of policies, processes, and technologies designed to ensure that the right individuals (identities) have the right access to resources within an organization. IAM involves managing and securing digital identities, controlling access to systems and data, and maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. Team released version 2025.1.0 of midPoint, implementing the following changes:

  • Created task to resume suspended sub-tasks.
  • Removed old certificate.
  • Disabled emergency login in non-sandbox environments.
  • Upgraded lxml.
  • Other general service updates.

Release Notes – midPoint – Release 2024.4.1

On Tuesday, July 2, 2024 the IAMIAM Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a set of policies, processes, and technologies designed to ensure that the right individuals (identities) have the right access to resources within an organization. IAM involves managing and securing digital identities, controlling access to systems and data, and maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. Team released version 2024.4.1 of midPoint, implementing the following changes:

  • Auto-generation of sAMAccountName for Grouper created groups will now include the sub-department, if there is one.
  • The sAMAccountName will now allow up to 7 characters for the CSUCSU College, School, or Unit name and 7 characters for the sub-department name.
  • All pre-existing Grouper groups that have a sub-department will automatically be updated with the new sAMAccountName format.
