On Wednesday, December 20, 2023 the IAMIAM Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a set of policies, processes, and technologies designed to ensure that the right individuals (identities) have the right access to resources within an organization. IAM involves managing and securing digital identities, controlling access to systems and data, and maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. Team released Enterprise Group Services version 2024.1.1/202312201209 which implemented the following change:

  • Updated application tasks so that they are runnable and indestructible.
  • Updated the Grouper Assignment Template to allow the following affiliations:
    • 0AFWK – University Affiliate
    • 0UAFT – Future University Affiliate
    • 0XTSN – University Extension Participant
    • 0FCCU – Current Faculty
    • 0FCFT – Future Faculty
    • 0LBRY – Library Patron
    • 0VIST – Official Visitor
    • 0OSCU – Current OnRamps Student
    • 0OSFT – Future OnRamps Student
    • 0RETR – Retiree
    • 0SFCU – Current Staff
    • 0SFFT – Future Staff

  • Fixed a bug for sending utexasEduPersonOrgUnitCode to downstream systems for non-employees.

  • Improved IIQIIQ SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) is a group- and role-based authorization management service. See Identity Lifecycle Management for more information. Merge Objection Removal Process.
  • Now sending utexasEduPersonOrgUnitCode and utexasEduPersonDeanVPOrgUnitCode to downstream systems for non-employees.

On Thursday, June 1, 2023 the IAMIAM Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a set of policies, processes, and technologies designed to ensure that the right individuals (identities) have the right access to resources within an organization. IAM involves managing and securing digital identities, controlling access to systems and data, and maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. Team released SailPoint IdentityIQ version 2023.1.1 which implemented the following changes:

  • Decommissioned the integration with the University Wiki Service.
  • Created groups to support implementation of privileged access management groups.
  • Improved resiliency.
  • Other security improvements and bug fixes.
