Release Notes – SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) – Version 2018.3.1

On Wednesday morning, 12/05/2018, the IAMIAM Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a set of policies, processes, and technologies designed to ensure that the right individuals (identities) have the right access to resources within an organization. IAM involves managing and securing digital identities, controlling access to systems and data, and maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. Team will release SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQIIQ SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) is a group- and role-based authorization management service. See Identity Lifecycle Management for more information.) 2019.3.1 to address an issue uncovered as part of the Workday cutover. This release will include a fix to align international character handling between Workday, SailPoint, TIMTIM The uTexas Identity Manager (TIM) is the University’s identity manager. See uTexas Identity Manager (TIM) in the service catalog for more information. and TEDTED The uTexas Enterprise Directory (TED) is the University’s enterprise directory. See uTexas Enterprise Directory (TED) in the service catalog for more information..

Release Notes – SailPoint IIQ – Version 2019.3.0

On Wednesday morning, 11/28/2018, the IAMIAM Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a set of policies, processes, and technologies designed to ensure that the right individuals (identities) have the right access to resources within an organization. IAM involves managing and securing digital identities, controlling access to systems and data, and maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. Team will release SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQIIQ SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) is a group- and role-based authorization management service. See Identity Lifecycle Management for more information.) 2019.3.0 to apply a SailPoint provided security patch and address issues uncovered as part of the Workday cutover. More specifically, this release will include a fix for immediate terminations from Workday and disabling email notifications from being sent to managers when an employee is terminated.

Release Notes – SailPoint IIQ – Version 2019.1.0

On Wednesday morning, 10/17/2018, the IAMIAM Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a set of policies, processes, and technologies designed to ensure that the right individuals (identities) have the right access to resources within an organization. IAM involves managing and securing digital identities, controlling access to systems and data, and maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. Team will release SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQIIQ SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) is a group- and role-based authorization management service. See Identity Lifecycle Management for more information.) 2019.1.0 in support of the transition from HRMS to Workday. This release will include feeds from Workday and UT System Administration to provide employee data to the EIDUT EID The University of Texas Electronic Identity (UT EID or EID) is the public records identifier for principals at the university. See our Concepts page for more information. System (TIMTIM The uTexas Identity Manager (TIM) is the University’s identity manager. See uTexas Identity Manager (TIM) in the service catalog for more information.), the enterprise directories (TEDTED The uTexas Enterprise Directory (TED) is the University’s enterprise directory. See uTexas Enterprise Directory (TED) in the service catalog for more information. and TOMTOM TED on the Mainframe (TOM) is a subset of the uTexas Enterprise Directory (TED) except on the UT Mainframe. It is a handful of files in an ADABAS database. It is populated by a uTexas Identity Manager (TIM) notifier and consumed exclusively by UT Mainframe applications.), and the public directory (http://directory.utexas.edu). TED will also be receiving the new Workday supervisory organization structure data for future use.

Release Notes – SailPoint IIQ – Version 2018.3.0

The SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQIIQ SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) is a group- and role-based authorization management service. See Identity Lifecycle Management for more information.) 2018.3.0 release includes a major version upgrade of the SailPoint IIQ software from IdentityIQ 7.0 to IdentityIQ 7.2.

Release Notes – SailPoint IIQ – Version 2018.2.0

The SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQIIQ SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) is a group- and role-based authorization management service. See Identity Lifecycle Management for more information.) 2018.2.0 release will improve on the previously implemented functionality for our early adopters and establish a process that will allow role owners to manage their own roles. We have also incorporated some key technical improvements to all our environments along with updating our automated operational procedures.

Some of the highlights of the 2018.2.0 release include:

  • Refined assignment logic and deprovisioning criteria for a customer
  • Modified customer reports to implement requested changes
  • Updated wording in an access request form
  • Imported ownership details of TEDTED The uTexas Enterprise Directory (TED) is the University’s enterprise directory. See uTexas Enterprise Directory (TED) in the service catalog for more information. legacy groups
  • Implemented distributed role management functionality
