ID Center/Photos

The IAM Team maintains and supports the back-end systems used by the ID Center to provide identity vetting, identification photography, and identification card provisioning for the University. The team also supports applications that allow the display of photographs of members of the University community within authorized applications.

  • The ID Card System includes the applications that support the ID Centerexternal link.
  • The Virtual IDexternal link application displays an electronic version of the UT ID card for the logged on user, displaying their name, official University photograph, and relevant affiliation(s). Some UT Austin departments accept the Virtual ID as identification if a customer does not have their physical ID card in their possession.
  • The Photo Rosterexternal link provides instructors of record (professors, lecturers and assistant instructors) and their delegates with access to photographs of the students in their classes.
  • The Photo Gatewayexternal link allows authorized web applications to display photos from the ID Photo Database.
